How To Pay Less And Save The World?
Telephone bill. Petrol bill. Food bill.
Bills, bills, and bills.
One of the things that we can be sure of each month is the arrival of multiple bills. We can never be certain about the future but bills are the exception. They are loyal and punctual. The utilities’ bills we’ve to pay each month can be quite a burden at times. While we may not be able to eliminate them entirely, we can reduce the amount and, thus, reduce our monthly burden.
Bills for Business Owners
If paying only for our personal bills can already stress us out beyond imagination, try owning a factory. Fear not, business owners. Bills can be reduced and productivity doesn’t have to be compromised.
It’s all about using energy in a more efficient manner. If we need only a light bulb to lit the room then using 10 light bulbs will only be a waste of energy. If an energy saving light bulb costs twice more than the usual light bulb but last ten times longer, then we have a clear winner.
The Industrial Energy Efficiency For Malaysian Manufacturing Sector (‘IEEMMS’) project is implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (‘UNIDO’), in partnership with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry ('MITI') and SME Corp. It aimed to assist business owners to use energy more efficiently, thereby saving their costs and conserving the environment at the same time.
IEEMMS provides trainings for business owners to improve their production in a sustainable way. If business owners start adopting the methods encouraged by IEEMMS, it will be a win-win situation for them and the environment. So why not?
